Christmas Time

Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. I love it regardless of weather....although I love it when it is cold in December. It is 74 degrees right now in Dallas!! Crazy. I love decorating my home and seeing other decorations. I love listening to Christmas music. I have had it on the one radio channel that plays continuous Christmas music. I listen to Christmas music online at work (www.pandora.com) I love Christmas parties. I love cooking Christmas treats. I love spending time with family whoever and whenever we can be together. I love how everyone decides to take part in charities during this time of the year. I only wish people would say Merry Christmas...none of this Happy Holidays business.

I am about to pick up Shawna, David, and Kate from the airport. I take Mamma Two to the airport on Sunday and Rhett and I fly out on Tuesday. I love it....Holiday travels!

I thought you all might enjoy these pictures as much as I do. I love them.

Merry Christmas friends.

Happy Birthday Melissa!

This past weekend was another friend's birthday. Melissa! I met Melissa at Baylor after pledging the same sorority. I remember seeing her around campus before we pledged and I thought she was so confident even as a freshman. She and I stood in line near each other due to our last names and we slowly got to know each other.

For all those who know her, or have even had the pleasure of talking to her, know she is the most positive person. Melissa will have the worst day, and just laugh it off. She will say something so profound like, "I learned so much about myself today."

She is a great listener. I like to talk and hear the sound of my voice, and Melissa listens with an open ear time and time again.

She is an encourager. She will encourage and compliment a tree. Seriously she always finds a way to make everyone around her feel great. I needed this time and time again. It is so refreshing to know people can take the time to give a kind word to someone else.

She is eloquent. She will say the everyday things very eloquently. I can't even type it.

She loves the Lord. She is devoted to living a life glorifying to God. She is a great example as a friend and confidant.

She is a wonderful friend. She is loyal, and kind. She is one that I am so blessed to have in my life.

Happy Birthday Melissa!!
