We've been searching for a new car for me ever night after work for the last two weeks. This doesn't sound like much, but it's exhausting. We finally found a car, bought it last Wednesday and we love it! ps. If you need a new car, buy it at the end of the month. The dealerships need to hit quota and get cars off their lot so you will likely get a really aggressive deal...like us!
As I mentioned before, we lost my Auntie Barbara about three weeks ago but her memorial service was going to be in Denver,Friday the 19th. We really wanted to go but the flights were outrageous! So,we decided to drive.

We left at noon that Thursday and drove 12.5 hours. Went to memorial service Friday. Enjoyed a little time at our family cabin in the mountains on Saturday. Jumped back in the car on Sunday at 6:00am mountain time and drove another 12.5 hours home. Whew.

Our house was a WRECK. Dishes were so backed up. The laundry piles were a million miles high.
So we cleaned all weekend long. Then Saturday, I had a funeral service and two wedding showers. All three events were ones I wouldn't have missed, but I was exhausted. I AM exhausted. I haven't come up for air and I'm sleepy ALL OF THE TIME.
I'm thinking if the weather would just cool off, I'd have a burst of energy... and no, 97 degrees on Sunday will not be cooling off!
Luckily, we have Labor Day Monday off. I'm hoping we can get some R&R in! David has been so helpful at home with the cleaning. I don't know what I would do without him.

I'm really not complaining, I'm mostly explaining why the lack of blog posts. I haven't had time!
