Everything happens for a reason...Right?

Welp, the car we picked out and felt was "the one" turned out to have a mechanichal problem. Obviously it's for the best but I can't help but be bummed.

I didn't let it ruin my birthday though! David surprised me at home with a dozen yummy cake balls and candles. They were/are delicious!!


David even put the cake balls in the shape of 2-6. He's so precious.


Then we went to dinner at Bolla in the Stonleigh Hotel.




It's restaurant week in Dallas so you can get three courses for $35 at some of the nicest restaurants in town. It's such a great deal! Bolla has been on our wish list for a while and it did not disappoint!
