Layla is 4 months old and is a full bred German Shepherd puppy. My brother's girlfriend's family (say that three times fast) had this puppy and offered her to us! We are so happy it worked out and are enjoying her so much already.
We named her Layla after the famous Eric Clapton song. We saw Eric Clapton in concert at one of our first dates!
The name fits her perfectly. It means "dark beauty" in Arabic...even though she's German, she's our dark beauty!!
She is so social and minds pretty good so far. She is a super sweetie! I'm sure this blog will have stories and pictures of Layla in the future ;)

oh my! this is a very large puppy! She won't be a lap dog for long! She's really pretty, though!Dad is in love with her! :)
She has such a sweet face! Can't wait to meet her! i'm sure she'll be even so much bigger when we get to! We took Bruiser to the vet today and he socialized so well with other dogs so I can't wait for them to meet also.

You certainly will not regret getting a German Shepherd! Ours is super sweet, gentle and obedient, and he makes me feel so safe!
