Date Night

For the past month David and I have gone to work and immediately upon getting home from work have either:

1. worked on getting the wedding invitations in the mail- since we did the invitations our selves this was a full time job...and one that took a lot of time and effort

2. driven all over the State of Texas (and through Oklahoma and Kansas) for various reasons...

3. painting two rooms in our house- which took one whole week

and 4. moving non stop...

We have not had the time to just go on a date! SO we are taking the time tonight. We will not lift a box, hang a picture, lick an envelope, or whatever else has occupied our time...instead we will enjoy a nice dinner with some wine at the Tower Club- special to us because we are getting married there in 1 month and 9 days today.

Then we will go to the Dallas Symphony for the first time! We are really excited about experiencing some Dallas culture...

And just take a deep breath. So refreshing. So needed.

So glad you're taking the time to do this--it's crazy what a difference it will make!!

What a nice little breather. It's hard not to just go, go, go. Date nights help you remember what it's all for, why you are running yourself ragged; it's so important to have time to yourselves to just enjoy each other. I just love your relationship! Can't wait for the wedding!

Smart, smart, smart...I guess the Tower Club was nicer than the Salina steakhouse - forgot the name! - Tuscons? anyway, hope it was nice - we had Taco Johns for THE Valentines meal! Loved it! Really!
